This year, you worked closely with a person or organization who, through their work with students, made significant contributions to both the discipline of CSD and National NSSLHA. Nominate them to be recognized with the Honors of NSSLHA award!

Application Steps

Confirm Your Eligibility to Nominate

In order to nominate a person or organization for the award, you must be at least 1 of the following:

Confirm Your Nominee's Eligibility

Those eligible for Honors of NSSLHA may be faculty or staff in your CSD program, an audiology or speech-language pathology professional in your community, or a CSD-related organization in your community.

  • A nominated individual must be an ASHA Certified member who has not received the award in the past 3 years.
  • A nominated organization must not have received the award in the past 3 years.

Note: Honors of NSSLHA is not intended to recognize chapter advisors (who should be nominated for Chapter Advisor Honors) or NSSLHA members (who should be nominated for Member Honors).

Submit Your Nomination by March 31, 2024

Applications are now open and due March 31, 2024.

Submissions Reviewed by the National NSSLHA Office

All nominations will be reviewed by the National NSSLHA office to confirm eligibility.

Applications Reviewed by the Executive Council

The Executive Council will review eligible applications and select one recipient for each award.

Notification

The recipient will be notified and recognized in May 2024. Recognition includes a plaque, as well as a mention on the National NSSLHA website, in The ASHA Leader, and in additional NSSLHA communications.
