Mental Health Resources

Below you will find a variety of resources organized by category. This list was developed for students, by students serving on National NSSLHA's Inclusion, Diversity, Action, and Equity (IDEA) Work Group. If you'd like to add resources that would benefit students, please contact NSSLHA. Remember, if you are struggling with your mental health and feel that you would benefit from seeing a mental health professional, please seek out help from a trained provider.

Helpful reminders:

  1. You are not alone! Many people struggle with their mental health in school, and there is nothing wrong with reaching out or taking time for yourself.
  2. There are many activities and resources that may help improve your mental health.
  3. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please do not hesitate to seek professional help.
  4. Check your university’s health services department, some offer free groups and counseling.
  5. Other aspects of health can also support your mental health, such as getting quality sleep, eating a nutritious diet, and incorporating movement into your day.
