2023 Resolutions and Motions

The following resolutions and motions were considered by the NSSLHA Executive Council in 2023. This page will be updated as action is taken.

EC 08-2023

RESOLVED, That National NSSLHA post on social media affirming their commitment to building a strong and diverse membership community, specifically supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ students, and ensuring financial resources and opportunities for all students.

EC 07-2023

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council approve the 2023-2025 Executive Council slate.

EC 06-2023

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council approve new criteria for the National NSSLHA Undergraduate Scholarship replacing the letter of recommendation with a reference form with Likert scale.

EC 05-2023

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council select the 2022-2023 Chapter of the Year awardee.

EC 04-2023 

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council revise the National NSSLHA Pre-Professional guidelines to expand our anti-discrimination clause.

EC 03-2023

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council extend the 2020-2022 National NSSLHA Strategic Plan and related initiatives, including the IDEA Work Group, through December 31, 2023.

EC 2-2023

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council select 10 National NSSLHA Undergraduate Scholarship awardees.

EC 1-2023

RESOLVED, That a $5,000 contribution to the ASHFoundation be conditionally made based upon National NSSLHA’s 2022 operating net income being at least $5,000 before the contribution is made.
