2019 Resolutions and Motions

The following resolutions and motions were considered by the NSSLHA Executive Council in 2019. This page will be updated as action is taken.

EC 13-2019

RESOLVED, That a $5,000 contribution to the ASHFoundation be conditionally made based upon NSSLHA’s 2019 operating net income being at least $5,000 before the contribution is made.

EC 12-2019

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council select 3 ASHFoundation NSSLHA Scholarship awardees.

EC 11-2019

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council approve the 3rd round of 2019-20 Student State Officer (SSO) slate.

EC 10-2019

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council approve the 2nd round of 2019-20 Student State Officer (SSO) slate.

EC 09-2019

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council approve the 2019-20 Student State Officer (SSO) slate.

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council approve updates to the bylaws.

EC 07-2019

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council appoint Dr. Kia Johnson as the NSSLHA National Advisor.

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council approve the 2019-2021 EC/RC slate.

EC 05-2019

RESOLVED, That the Executive Council select the 2018-2019 Chapter of the Year awardee.

EC 04-2019

RESOLVED, That the Vice President for Student State Officer—Audiology and Vice President for Student State Officer—Speech-Language Pathology positions are sunset from the Executive Council and four Vice Presidents for Student State Officer positions are added representing each of the regions (Western, Central, Northeastern, Southern) are added to the Executive Council as voting members.

RESOLVED, That Executive and Regional Council positions are slated and approved by the Executive Council, rather than voted on by the general NSSLHA membership.
